Role Details
- Work Location – Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver
- Shift/Hours or Hybrid Environment – Hybrid
- Salary – The full base salary range for this position is from $108,000 - $150,000 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.
About This Opportunity
There is currently an opportunity on the Strategic Infrastructure and Capacity Team to support the development, implementation, and business integration of Strategic Infrastructure Projects. Reporting to the Senior Manager SIP Business Integration, working closely with leadership across the organization, this role will touch almost all functions and aspects of our business.
Projects will be moved from an idea to reality through our rigorous project approval process, of which this role will support the end-to-end impact, driving towards the best direction and tangible results for our business.
Responsibilities
- Supports the integration of activities of multiple SIP projects; ensuring project efforts are cohesive, consistent, and effective in supporting CCCBL’s mission, goals, and values.
- Supports Project Sponsors to develop and approve business cases to support CCCBLs long-term strategic infrastructure plan (SIP).
- Understands and implements strategies and operating objectives to ensure efficient and effective business-wide implementation of high complexity cross-functional strategic projects.
- Indirect Management / influencer of a large and diverse team of professional/technical and support staff, both directly and through lower-level managers and supervisors.
- Establishes strong working relationships between project leadership and operational stakeholders.
- Supports management of complex, multi-faceted budgets and business plans related to SIP project development and execution; performs periodic look-back reviews.
- Prepare, distill and present reports and proposals to the executive leadership team.
- Maintains breadth of knowledge with respect to CCCBL’s business needs and plans (Cross-functional).
- Implement and maintain individual project objectives and short and long-range plans.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum post-secondary degree/diploma
- Minimum 3-5 years in a management role in a relevant function
- Broad, cross-functional awareness and knowledge of business activities
- Proven track record within Project Management
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Experience in business planning, business case development, and strategy
- Good understanding of engineering and/or supply chain operations
- Excellent organizational and communicational skills
- Collaborator, self-starter, with an eye for detail
- Experience in large step change initiatives
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & PowerPoint)
- Continuous improvement background and/or PMP considered an asset
