About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Category Stills & Energy, the Manager, Product Commercialization is responsible for all innovation projects. This includes new products, limited-time offers (LTO’s), and formula and packaging changes. You will work collaboratively with your team to manage innovation pipeline, track timelines, highlight milestones, and keep the team on track by reviewing all associated activities. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Senior Leaders to manage the Product Commercialization process for Coke Canada.
  • Help prepare for the Bottler Stages & Gates in collaboration with the Brand Commercial teams for all projects.
  • Develop and execute the project plan and timeline for each project in Smartsheet software.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams involved in new product and/or packaging development and commercialization. 
  • Create the by-package forecasts for all packaging changes (ie. on pack promotions, special graphics) and manage the transitions between sustaining and promotional packaging. 
  • Evaluate the success of all packaging transitions and work on continual improvement to the process. 
  • Manage the roll-out of new packaging and create a transition plan to mitigate write-off exposure.

Qualifications

  • At least four years of project management experience, from a sales, operations, marketing, or category management perspective. 
  • At least one year of experience in a CPG environment, with knowledge of innovation planning and/or supply chain. 
  • Project Management experience and Program Management skills, familiarity with Smartsheet or other project management software.
  • Advanced Excel and the ability to use pivot tables and data mining are essential; ideally, you also have experience using AC Nielsen.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking, you can use data to develop and tell a story.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills/ 
  • Ability to guide large cross-functional teams, to encourage collaboration, and to deliver results.
  • Proven track record of problem-solving.
