Role Details
- Work Location – Toronto
- Hybrid Environment – This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule. Subject to change. The in-office requirement is a minimum of three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), with the flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days.
- Salary – The full base salary range for this position is from $108,000 - $150,000 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.

About This Opportunity
We are recruiting a Manager, Commercial Finance to join our Commercial Finance team. This strategic role leads the financial governance of Innovation Stages & Gates (S&G), with a strong focus on cost accounting, P&L ownership, financial modeling, and commercial business partnering.
In this role, you will help drive Coke Canada’s financial performance by delivering accurate, timely reporting, generating insights to inform decision-making, and partnering closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Customer teams. Your scope spans Innovation Finance, Cost Accounting, Financial Modeling, and Category/Commercial Finance support, with a mandate to strengthen decision discipline, processes, and controls—while elevating the quality of financial insights across the business.

Responsibilities
- Lead commercial financial governance across innovation initiatives and category performance, enabling disciplined investment decision-making.
- Own Stages & Gates P&L governance for new innovations, ensuring consistent profitability thresholds, cost assumptions, and evaluation standards.
- Lead innovation P&L development, analysis, and reporting throughout the Stages & Gates lifecycle, supporting go/no-go decisions at each gate.
- Serve as Finance Business Partner to Category Commercial teams by leading category P&L reviews and translating results into actionable insights.
- Develop and continuously refine the S&G Profitability Matrix, integrating financial returns with strategic and commercial value drivers.
- Conduct Stages & Gates post-audits to assess performance against approved assumptions, explain variances, and strengthen controls and decision quality.
- Ensure timely, accurate financial and management reporting, meeting all Stages & Gates governance requirements and review timelines.
- Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Customer Finance to align financial outcomes with operational and commercial strategies.
- Drive process improvement, standardization, and automation to increase reporting efficiency, data accuracy, and transparency.
- Lead and/or support special projects and ad hoc financial analysis to enable business initiatives and leadership decisions.
Qualifications
- College diploma in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor’s degree preferredCPA designation strongly preferred.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including cost accounting and financial modeling.
- Experience supporting and/or managing P&L activities.
- Working knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to present financial insights and P&L results clearly and effectively.
- Proven ability to partner with cross functional stakeholders and translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Strong analytical, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
- Effective business partnering skills, including constructive challenge and stakeholder management.
- High level of ownership, adaptability, and resilience in a changing environment.
