Role Details

  • Work Location – Toronto
  • Hybrid Environment – This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule. Subject to change. The in-office requirement is a minimum of three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), with the flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days.
  • Salary – The base salary for the position is $82,800- $115,000. The starting base salary is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, experience and internal equity.

About This Opportunity

We are recruiting a Finance Business Manager to join our Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team. In this role, you will act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to the Sales Director and Senior Sales Manager, supporting the Foodservice On Premise (FSOP), Wholesale, and 24/7 channels.


This is a highly visible, end to end role where Finance directly influences commercial outcomes. You will provide financial leadership across customer contract acquisitions and renewals, annual customer planning, budgeting and forecasting, Trade Board submissions, and customer profitability and opportunity analysis.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial stewardship and opportunity analysis for customer acquisitions and renewals, including multi year financial projections and return on investment (ROI) analysis. 
  • Own the Request for Approval (RFA) financial model used to evaluate customer agreements. 
  • Lead customer performance reporting by monitoring financial results, highlighting variances to plan and forecast, and conducting root cause analysis to identify risks and opportunities. 
  • Partner with the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team to ensure pricing and trade spend are executed in line with established guardrails and channel pricing coherence. 
  • Collaborate with Sales and RGM to develop the annual customer revenue plan and Direct Marketing Expense (DME) budget in support of overall profit objectives. 
  • Prepare and submit customer investment proposals and supporting financial analysis to the Trade Board. 
  • Deliver accurate customer level revenue rate projections to support the Rolling Estimate (RE) process. 
  • Partner with Pricing and Customer Marketing Agreement (CMA) teams to ensure pricing and CMA requests are submitted on time, supported by appropriate documentation, and aligned with audit requirements; resolve pricing discrepancies as required. 
  • Support the financial components of customer presentations. 
  • Track brand partner funding across customer agreements and initiatives, ensuring accurate billing and timely reconciliation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preference for Finance or Accounting, though a BBA or related business degree is also acceptable.
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent designation considered an asset.
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience in commercial finance, financial analysis, audit, or accounting.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, including moderate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel with the ability to build and evaluate complex formulas (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, sensitivity analysis).
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work proactively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to deliver strong business partnership through financial insights, root cause analysis, opportunity identification, and actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to financial integrity, accuracy, and ethical business practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments, using available data to develop recommendations and assess risks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial performance and insights to non technical audiences.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to adapt, multitask, and reprioritize in response to changing business needs.
