About This Opportunity
We’re looking for a Compensation Analyst who enjoys working with data, solving problems and turning analysis into meaningful insights. If you have at least two years of compensation or total rewards experience and want to deepen your expertise, this is an opportunity to contribute to national programs while learning from an experienced team.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Compensation, you will support the delivery of compensation and total rewards programs across Canada. You will:
- Support the annual merit increase and incentive compensation cycles.
- Administer quarterly Sales Incentive Plan payouts.
- Conduct compensation analysis, market pricing and salary benchmarking.
- Participate in compensation surveys and analyze internal and external market data.
- Build costing models, dashboards and reports.
- Support job evaluations and maintain accurate compensation data.
- Prepare analysis for Labour Relations and collective bargaining requirements.
- Develop clear compensation and total rewards communications.
- Contribute to broader total rewards initiatives, including benefits, pension, wellness and leaves.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in compensation, total rewards or HR analytics, with direct exposure to compensation programs.
- A degree, diploma or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Finance or a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large or complex data sets.
- Experience with compensation analysis, salary benchmarking, market surveys or incentive programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and data-quality skills.
- The ability to explain data and compensation concepts clearly to different audiences.
- Sound judgment when handling confidential employee information.
- Strong organization and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience with Power BI, data visualization or compensation dashboards.
- Exposure to job evaluation or job architecture.
- Experience in a unionized, shared-services or multi-location organization.
