About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Model Builder to join our Intelligent Data & Enterprise Automation Team.  Reporting to the Anaplan Solutions Architect, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of Anaplan models to support enterprise planning initiatives. You will act as a subject matter expert, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and provide technical mentorship to junior team members.  

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize Anaplan models to support planning and forecasting processes.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Anaplan model architectures.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, and other teams to gather needs and drive alignment.
  • Perform model testing, validation, performance tuning, and documentation.
  • Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior model developers.
  • Maintain model version control, manage release cycles, and ensure model governance.
  • Support data integration efforts between Anaplan and external systems (e.g., Azure, SQL).
  • Educate and support end-users with training and documentation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and help drive efficient project delivery using DevOps. 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on Anaplan model-building experience.
  • Certified Anaplan Model Builder. (Anaplan Solution Architect certification would be an asset). 
  • Strong understanding of Anaplan best practices, model optimization, and workspace management.
  • Experience conducting code reviews and supporting junior developers.
  • Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.

 

The following would be useful, but are not required for the role.

  • Experience with SQL and data integration (e.g., Azure, SSIS).
  • Familiarity with UiPath, Power Platform, or similar automation tools.
  • Exposure to broader automation or reporting technologies (e.g., Power BI, SSRS, SSAS).
  • Experience in Agile environments with stakeholder management.
