Supervisor, Manufacturing (12 month Contract)

About This Opportunity

The Manufacturing Supervisor role is a 12-month contract position based at Coca-Cola Canada Bottling’s Production Facility in Richmond, BC. This role follows a rotational schedule between day and afternoon shifts. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for leading a team and ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of goods. The position requires strict adherence to safety, quality, and food standards while maintaining alignment with the overall production schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, evaluate, and develop a team of 30+ employees; monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on the production floor
• Manage line efficiencies, downtime, KPIs, syrup yields, and day-to-day plant operations
• Oversee operations within the monthly labour and OPEX budget
• Conduct regular production checks; adjust equipment or work practices per standard operating procedures
• Analyze KPI trends, identify improvement opportunities, and troubleshoot issues
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives
• Support Autonomous Maintenance (TPM) practices
• Use SAP for timely production confirmations
• Verify production line readiness at start-up and supervise changeovers
• Ensure all packaging and final product outputs meet defined standards and specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production or manufacturing experience
• 2 years of experience supervising production teams preferred
• Proven ability to manage department budgets effectively
• Strong computer and database application skills
• Working knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes #LI-IM1
