Position Overview: The primary role of the Millwright is to provide a safe, competent and effective maintenance on all production and facility assets at the Coca- Cola bottling facility, located in Richmond British Columbia.


Job Functions / Key Responsibilities:

  •   Responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate preventive and corrective maintenance.
  •   Ensuing all equipment throughout the plant is operating safely and at peak performance
  •   Overhaul and install new equipment.
  •   Generate and complete work orders in CMMS system.
  •   Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory.
  •   Will ensure compliance with all GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practice) and Safety Standards.
  •   Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups.


Job Requirements:

  •    Journeyman Millwright or Electrician Certification, dual ticketed is an asset.
  •    1-5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
  •    Bottling and can line maintenance experience in the food/packaging goods industry is an asset.
  •    Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
  •    Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge is an asset and highly recommended
  •   The ability to work rotating shifts to cover the plants operational needs, including overtime
  •   Ability to obtain a 4th class boiler ticket is mandatory
  •   Strong trouble shooting skills and the ability to work efficiently under time restraints
  •   Basic computer skills.
  •   Ability to follow manufacturer’s specifications and schematics.
  •   Requires the ability to lift 50lbs.  
  •  Must have own hand tools.
  • Liquid fill or food manufacturing experience is a strong asset
  • Must have demonstrated command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Must have the ability to work rotating shifts (days, afternoon, nights) and overtime when required to support a continuous operation
  • Demonstrated ability to listen and follow instruction
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to pay excellent attention to detail
  • Computer literate
