Role Details

  • Work Location – Richmond
  • Shift/Hours – Monday - Friday, Days
  • The full base salary range for this position is from $58,500 - $65,000 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.

About This Opportunity

The Manufacturing Analyst assists in updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining compliance with the training schedule. The Manufacturing Analyst will also manage, update, and evaluate production reports and results for discrepancies and improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist departmental Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relating to their respective job function.
  • Maintain training records in the LMS (Learning Management System) training database.
  • Work with department managers to maintain compliance with training schedule using the LMS training database reporting functions.
  • Record monthly meter readings to track environmental metrics and update in reporting tools (Shared Data Warehouse (SDW) and
  • SharePoint). Review data for accuracy.
  • Work with waste suppliers to gather plant waste stream data and update in reporting tools (SDW and SharePoint). Review data for accuracy.
  • Update production reporting in SAP, web tools and Excel.
  • Manage daily tracking and data entry for production volume, line performance and yield through Excel and SAP, create reporting to highlight and communicate trends.
  • Examine production results for discrepancies and improvement opportunities.
  • Manage daily production counts in SAP, complete inventory reconciliation, identify variances and resolve discrepancies.
  • Complete monthly posting of Raw Material Inventories and work with material planner to review variances.
  • Complete daily receiving of Raw Materials for the production process.
  • Complete weekly payroll entries in Kronos, investigate payroll variances with hourly associates and supervisors.
  • Schedule labour in accordance with the production schedule and CBA requirements.
  • Work with supervisors to balance resources as required to meet changes in the production schedule. 
  • Organize production paperwork including managing archived files.
  • Create memos, posters to communicate manufacturing updates.

Qualifications

  • Post secondary education required, Preferred Degree or diploma in business or Operations Management or equivalent
  • 1+ years relevant experience required
  • Strong computer and database skills
  • Experience with SAP, and Microsoft Office specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word
  • Strong mathematics skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work with a high level of accuracy
