About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Plant Director, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, supervising, and optimizing all maintenance operations to ensure the reliability and availability of our equipment.

As Maintenance Manager, you play a central role in overseeing and developing your team, providing effective guidance, fostering professional growth, and creating a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and develop a skilled maintenance team
  • Promote a safe and motivating work environment
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and company standards in all maintenance activities
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Keep maintenance documentation up to date
  • Produce regular reports on performance and key indicators (KPIs)
  • Manage, analyze, and present the maintenance budget
  • Identify and implement initiatives to reduce operational costs
  • Proactively improve process operations and seek to increase efficiency
  • Manage investment and improvement projects at the plant level in collaboration with project managers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or other relevant education/experience
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience as a manager supervising a team, including unionized employees
  • Proven experience in team management and maintenance planning
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and SAP Production Management software or equivalent (PM)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills
  • Ability to act as a change agent
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
