About This Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Building Coodinator will be responsible for the management of the Maintenance department to ensure the efficiency of the highest quality product at the lowest cost, while meeting customer demands.
Responsibilities

- Planning and Coordination:
Organize the work of teams, schedule timelines, and coordinate subcontractors and service providers. Issue work permits. - Establish the long-term maintenance and/or replacement plan for equipment.
- Administrative Management:
Manage documents, contracts, permits, and correspondence related to building, maintenance, and upkeep projects. - Project Monitoring:
Ensure follow-up on the progress of work, compliance with standards, conformity, and changes. - Safety and Maintenance:
Ensure the safety of buildings and factory grounds, and coordinate the maintenance of equipment and facilities. - Logistics:
Coordinate the flow of materials, equipment, and information between different departments and teams. - Team Support:
Work as a team with maintenance planners and supervisors, and perform any other tasks assigned by the Maintenance Director.

- Project Management: Mastery of project management techniques, planning, monitoring, and problem-solving.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills for interacting with teams, subcontractors, and management.
- Technical Skills: Technical knowledge in building and engineering/maintenance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering
At least 2 years of experience as a building coordinator, planner, or supervisor in a maintenance department
Knowledge of SAP is an assetBilinguism an asset (French required)
