  • Shift/Hours or Hybrid Environment – On-site, Tuesday to Saturday, 6AM to 2PM

About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor who is looking to lead a team and optimize the operations of a large supply chain. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for manufacturing products using safe and efficient processes while supervising members of the production team. This opportunity is based at our production facility located in Lachine.
 
**Day shift, Tuesday to Saturday, 6AM to 2PM**

Responsibilities

  • Manage employees, including scheduling, absenteeism, staffing, training, performance evaluation, development, and all other aspects related to managing a production team in a unionized environment
  • Support operational efficiency and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Manage the manufacturing process, including mixing, filling, and packaging
  • Conduct root cause analysis following equipment breakdowns or operational shutdowns that result in downtime
  • Verify production line readiness at start‑up
  • Manage overall packaging and product quality to ensure compliance with all standards and specifications, according to packaging and flavor standards, while achieving optimal production costs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a unionized manufacturing and production environment, including at least two (2) years as a direct supervisor of a team
  • Experience in cleaning and sanitation is considered an asset
  • Bilingualism in French (required) and English (an asset), both written and spoken
  • Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), health and safety standards, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and ISO standards
  • Excellent knowledge of continuous improvement principles and leadership performance, as well as problem‑solving methodologies and tools
  • Intermediate level of computer and database application skills; SAP experience is an asset
