About This Opportunity

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the management of Coke Canada drivers, warehouse and equipment service employees. They ensure the products are properly received, stored, and effectively distributed to our customers. The Supervisor works as a coach and mentor to their team. To succeed in this position, the supervisor must be capable of planning the workload, motivating their team, and offering great customer service. This is a unique opportunity that allows you to support three different functions such as, Equipment Service (50%), Warehouse (25%) and Distribution (25%)

Responsibilities

  • Supervising a team of 50+ distribution, warehouse, and equipment service employees, while respecting budgetary constraints
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Field Operations team
  • Accountable for delivering the Field Service vision and strategy
  • Works cross functionally with Equipment Installation Planning and Sales resources to support special projects as well as routine activities.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment to enforce health and safety policies and regulations in the workplace
  • Staff, train, coach, evaluate and develop team members
  • Overseeing the storage, as well as the shipping and receiving of goods
  • Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements
  • Manages drivers' delivery schedule and hours worked
  • Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolving customer issues
  • Serve as liaison between sales, distribution and warehouse to maintain efficient communication between functions
  • Manage and audit team member's timekeeping
  • Manage within labor and OPEX budget
     

Qualifications

  • Post secondary education in a related field or experience deemed equivalent
  • Prior experience in distribution, retail, or warehouse required. Beverage industry is preferred.
  • 1+ years experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required
  • 2+ years experience of supervisory experience required
  • Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations based on analytical evaluations
  • Ability to cultivate, manage and foster a diverse team of employees
  • Ability to initiate activities and perform duties without direct supervision
  • Be familiar with department of transportation regulations
  • Ability to be a leader, a good communicator, and a convener
  • Possess excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Be familiar with Office and SAP computer tools
  • Experience managing in a unionized environment is preferred
