Role Details

  • Work Location – Edmonton
  • Shift/Hours – Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
  • The full base salary range for this position is from $79,200.00  - $88,000 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.
  • This role is eligible for an annual incentive (AI) plan.

About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Full Service Vending, the Supervisor, Full‑Service Vending is responsible for driving profitable vending revenue through effective service execution, route performance, and asset utilization. This role provides day‑to‑day leadership to unionized Full Service Vending (FSV) drivers, including scheduling, route assignments, attendance management, and performance coaching in accordance with the collective agreement. The Supervisor conducts daily pre‑shift meetings, communicates service priorities and safety expectations, and monitors route execution using geo‑tracking and operational reporting tools to ensure compliance with planned routes and service standards. Working closely with Sales, Distribution, Route Planning, and Equipment Service teams, the role supports equipment deployment, resolves service issues, and improves operational efficiency. The Supervisor is also responsible for managing company assets, including vending truck & trailers, by overseeing utilization, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring safe and reliable operation to support consistent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Full-Service Vending Planner to optimize efficient route scheduling.
  • Manage Full-Service Vending drivers daily to ensure completion of assigned route and additional tasks.
  • Provide training and develop all Full Serve Vending Drivers and relief personnel, including executing route rides to train, coach, evaluate, and motivate.
  • Manage local customer relations pertaining to Full Serve Vending.
  • Provide updates to General Manager and Full Serve Vending Lead, as well as attend calls as required regarding Full Serve Vending and local sales.
  • Perform audits as required to ensure all tasks are completed, including and not limited to price changes, space to sales changes, and product rotation.
  • Manage and review Coca-Cola’s Key Business Indicators (KBIs) on an ongoing basis (e.g. cash yields, fill rates, low vends, scheduled vs. actual fills, etc.).
  • Ongoing analysis of existing FSV business to improve profitability.
  • Work with Field Sales team to provide education and guidance on Full-Service Vending Program. Assist Field Sales with growing FSV revenue through prospecting for new business and improving profitability of existing placements.
  • Manage contractual relationship with our current Fee for Service (FFS) providers, including monitoring performance, reporting, invoicing, and regular business reviews.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of Distribution, or Equipment Service Operations experience is required.
  • FMCPG, Beverage Industry experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated financial literacy and analysis.
  • Experience developing and presenting data driven business cases and recommendations.
  • Good understanding and appreciation of technology.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations based on analytical evaluations.
  • Understanding of and capability to utilize data sources.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
