As a Full-Service Delivery Driver, your main responsibility will be within Vending, stocking vending machines, troubleshooting, delivering product, and collecting sales proceeds.

This role includes a good amount of daily physical labor while handling cases to deliver directly to stores and/or filling vending machines. You will be handling cases and using a manual wheeler for most of your day as you follow a route itinerary.

 

The Details:

This is a Full-time position that will start ASAP. Standard work week is 40 hours with the potential for overtime during our peak seasons. 

 

Wage: $34.01

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday 5:30am – 3:30pm

Hours: 40 hours/week

Responsibilities

  • Pre/Post inspection on vehicle each day
  • Understand the location and inventory required for each stop.
  • Unloading and delivering products to vending machines
  • Cleaning and refilling of vending machines.
  • Collecting, securing, and transporting funds from coin/cash/credit card-operated vending machines.
  • Performing basic service to equipment to keep them working and ensures that all equipment is operable.
  • Check accuracy and stability of truck load.
  • Follow all Coke Canada Bottling and Store policies regarding equipment and safety.
  • Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.
  • Repetitively lift, carry, and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance - most route require product to be offloaded and brought into the customer location.
  • Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.

Qualifications

  • Commercial License with Air (Class 1 (AZ) manual) with no major violations over the last three (3) years
  • One (1) plus year of commercial driving experience
  • Local delivery experience preferred.
  • Professional, polite, when dealing with customers
  • Requirement to apply for a YYC Security Clearance.
