Role Details

  • Work Location – Brampton
  • Shift/Hours or Hybrid Environment – Hybrid, 3 days in-office
  • The full base salary range for this position is from $108,000 - $120,000 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.
  • Initial Posting Close Date – July 31st, 2026

About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Supply Planning, the Manager of Deployment Planning is responsible for leading the deployment planning function, ensuring efficient and accurate execution of daily deployment activities, and managing third-party warehouse (3PW) operations. This role will oversee a team of 5 deployment planners, maintain key supply chain processes, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the position requires strong analytical skills to manage budget variances, update sourcing and space tracking data, and support Supply Review processes.

Travel associated with this role will be approximately 5-10%.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Manage and develop a team of 5 deployment planners, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

Operational Execution

  • Ensure daily deployment processes are executed accurately and on time in accordance with established SOPs.
  • Oversee 3PW operations, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and operational standards such as approving invoices and requesting overtime requirements
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and external warehouse partners.

Process & Data Management

  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Update sourcing matrix in Blue Yonder to reflect accurate sourcing decisions.
  • Update master data as required
  • Update BP sourcing matrix as part of annual budgeting process
  • Maintain and update space tracking data as part of the monthly Supply Review process.
  • Support “Out of Matrix” analysis to address sourcing exceptions and optimize supply chain decisions.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor key metrics related to deployment accuracy, timeliness, and cost efficiency.
  • Report on budget variances on a monthly basis and provide insights for corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present annual 3PW budget.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to senior leadership during Supply Review and monthly/quarterly finance meetings.

Succession Planning and Development

  • Support and advocate for continuous improvement of technology such as Blue Yonder. Train staff in job duties and adoption of standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Working with the Director, Supply Planning, create a succession plan for the Supply Planning team. 

Process Improvement

  • Document and update all processes and procedures performed in the department and ensure standardization among the plants
  • Develop, direct, implement, and coordinate any inter-department procedures.
  • Recommend, coordinate, implement and communicate any process and procedural change that impact other departments.
  • Identify projects and implement/facilitate team-based improvements.
  • Develop and track metrics for performance.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role, including in a managerial position
  • Professional expertise has been gained with a manufacturer or distributor for a host of industries.  Food or beverage industries are of interest.
  • Knowledge of best practices and systems in supply chain.
  • Should possess strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
