- Work Location – Brampton
- Shift/Hours - Morning or Afternoon, Subject to change based on business needs. Monday - Friday
- Hourly Rate – $41.45/hr

About This Opportunity
Material Handling Technicians perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on material handling equipment according to MOL regulations on our forklift, riders and walkies. Must have two years of working experience in trade repairing the machinery
Responsibilities
- Perform running repairs on forklifts, riders and walkies as required
- Perform annual inspections on forklifts, riders and walkies to certify they meet MOL Safety Standards
- Perform 90-day Preventative Maintenance Inspections and do any follow up repairs as required
- Get quotes for parts/service from suppliers for equipment repairs and maintenance as required
- Attend and pass all safety training required by The Company
- Be self-motivated and be able to organize own work as part of a bigger team
- Maintain a clean and organized area
- Basic computer skills required as work orders are completed online. Knowledge of The SAP Operating System considered an asset
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must provide your own basic tools. Company provides tool allowance for buying and replacing tools
- Minimum of 2 year’s work experience (4000 hours)
- 3+ years' experience in the trade or with a Dealership preferred
- Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude
- Yale, Crown and Toyota Equipment Experience Preferred
- Basic computer skills required. Knowledge of SAP operating system preferred
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to organize workload and perform work with minimum supervision
- Must be able to work as part of a larger Team
- Complete and pass all Company required safety training and forklift/rider operator certification
- Be available for shift work if required
