Role Details
- Work Location – Brampton
- Shift/Hours – Monday to Friday, Days - Hybrid in office 3 days per week.
- Salary – The full base salary range for this position is from $70,000 - $78,500 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.
About This Opportunity
The Distribution Analyst works in our Distribution Centre of Excellence to transforms distribution, delivery, customer, and operational data into actionable insights that improve service, productivity, cost efficiency, and decision-making.
This role supports key COE routines including operational reporting, productivity analysis, business planning, KPI target setting, Power BI dashboard management, advanced Excel reporting, automation, and ad-hoc business analysis. The analyst partners with Operations, Finance, and field teams to identify opportunities that improve distribution performance.
The successful candidate is technically strong, curious, skilled in AI-assisted analysis, confident with Power BI and advanced Excel, and able to turn complex data into clear business recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Support critical Distribution COE routines, including month-end reporting, productivity improvement reporting, operational KPI reporting, and business planning support.
- Develop and maintain KPI scorecards and dashboards focused on productivity, delivery performance, service levels, cost efficiency, and execution reliability.
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, reduce waste, strengthen route performance, and enhance network planning decisions. Translate findings into actionable recommendations that improve service levels, productivity, cost-to-serve, and operational consistency.
- Ability to analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources and develop analytical models, forecasting tools, scenario analyses, performance scorecards, and KPI frameworks.
- Utilize Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, data models), Power BI, SAP, Business Objects, and other enterprise reporting tools to deliver accurate, actionable operational insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Identify performance trends, risks, root causes, and opportunities across delivery, merchandising, customer service, and route execution.
- Apply advanced analytics, AI, and automation tools to generate insights, improve business processes, accelerate decision-making, and support the organization's digital transformation strategy.
- Support annual business planning by analyzing historical performance, building target-setting models, and quantifying productivity improvement opportunities across delivery, merchandising, and distribution KPIs.
- Support ad-hoc projects by gathering data, building reporting tools, completing analysis, and presenting findings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, operations support, logistics, distribution, finance, supply chain, or business analytics.
- Strong advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, and data modeling.
- Experience developing or supporting Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, data models, DAX calculations, or operational reports.
- Ability to manipulate, validate, and analyze large data sets from multiple systems.
- Basic financial and statistical capability, including trend analysis, variance analysis, forecasting, ROI, cost-benefit analysis, and performance-to-target measurement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to turn data into actionable recommendations that improve operational performance.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and simplify complex information for business audiences.
