About This Opportunity

 

The Regional Sales Manager/Area Sales Manager is responsible for continuous growth of Revenue and Gross Profit objectives within all Channels. They are responsible for the communication, planning and execution of business strategies. 

 


They are also responsible for creating and implementing the organization's sales strategy and goals designed to increase sales, profits and market share for an assigned territory. Supervising activities of sales force including customer service, training, preparation of sales forecasts and managing operational expenses. 

Responsibilities

•    People Management - Coach and develop the team of district sales managers while ensuring a culture of learning and development exists throughout the channels selling organization
•    Field Sales Execution - Coordinating all sales activities to ensure the highest level of execution on all marketing initiatives, new product introductions and overall Picture of Success (PicOS)
•    Achieve business results for volume, revenue, gross profit & EBITDA for your team and/or Market Unit
•    Accountable for merchandising optimization, customer service levels and managing OPEX budget
•    Achieve applicable Customer Excellence and Commercial targets
•    Developing and facilitating quarterly sales and marketing planning process for their Sales Centre
•    Accountable for field sales adherence to selling in and maintaining CMA agreements
•    Builds relationships with key customer contacts and supports business reviews and results on a pre-determined frequency, gaining alignment on key business initiatives
•    Develop relationships with National & Regional customer teams to provide feedback, improve collaboration and drive field execution.
•    Track and report progress to ensure that programs are being executed and goals are achieved
•    Working in a collaborative environment sharing the best practices of the trade
•    Adhere to company standards, protecting company integrity
•    Collaborating with key stakeholders across the Operating Unit such as Demand Planning, General Managers, Operation Leads and Customer Excellence Team to drive overall profit

Qualifications

•    University degree in a business-related discipline completed 
•    Minimum of five (5) + years general management experience in consumer products and/or Direct Store Delivery environment.
•    Minimum Experience Required: 5+ years sales leadership experience 
•    Fully proficient in English and French (verbal & written)
•    Mentor, coach and promote successful leaders who live our values and holds them accountable 
•    Coaching and bringing knowledge to key strategies and decisions from all capability areas within our industry.
