Role Details

  • Work Location – Kingston, ON
  • Shift/Hours or Hybrid Environment – Monday to Friday- On-site
  • The full base salary range for this position is from $79,200 -  $110,000 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.

About This Opportunity

 

The Supervisor, Distribution and Warehouse is responsible for the management of Coke Canada drivers and warehouse employees as well as Field Service employees. They ensure the products are properly received, stored, and effectively distributed to our customers. The Supervisor works as a coach and mentor to their team. To succeed in this position, the supervisor must be capable of planning the workload, motivating their team, and offering great customer service.

Responsibilities

•    Supervising a team of 60+ distribution and warehouse employees, while respecting budgetary constraints
•    Provide leadership and guidance to the Field Operations team
•    Understands the scope of delivering the Field Service vision and strategy 
•    Audits Fountain Equipment installations to ensure adherence to guidelines and policies of Coca-Cola.
•    Maintaining a safe work environment to enforce health and safety policies and regulations in the workplace
•    Improve productivity of the workforce through current technology enablement, training, process improvement and identifying best practices (e.g., 5S & Lean methodology)
•    Audits Fountain Equipment installations to ensure adherence to guidelines and policies of Coca-Cola.
•    Works cross functionally with Equipment Installation Planning and Sales resources to support special projects as well as routine activities.
•    Staff, train, coach, evaluate and develop team members
•    Overseeing the storage, as well as the shipping and receiving of goods
•    Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements
•    Manages drivers' delivery schedule and hours worked
•    Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolving customer issues
•    Serve as liaison between sales, distribution and warehouse to maintain efficient communication between functions
•    Manage and audit team member's timekeeping 
•    Manage within labor and OPEX budget  #LI-IM1 #CBSAS

Qualifications

•    Post secondary education in a related field or experience deemed equivalent
•    Prior experience in distribution, retail, or warehouse required. Beverage industry is preferred.
•    3+ years experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required
•    3+ years experience of supervisory experience required
•    Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations based on analytical evaluations
•    Ability to provide leadership, motivation, and training for development of the distribution team
•    Ability to cultivate, manage and foster a diverse team of employees
•    Ability to initiate activities and perform duties without direct supervision
•    Possess excellent organization and time-management skills
•    Be familiar with department of transportation regulations
•    Be a leader, a good communicator, and a convener
•    Possess excellent organization and time-management skills
•    Be familiar with Office and SAP computer tools
•    Experience managing in a unionized environment is preferred
